A celebration of global unity and shared values, Global Encounters Festival 2025 transformed Dubai World Trade Centre into a vibrant, multi-venue cultural destination. Tasked with bringing this high-impact event to life, DXB LIVE delivered end-to-end services across 120,000 sqm, orchestrating seamless operations, custom infrastructure, and immersive environments for more than 100,000 attendee visits from around the world across multiple event days.
Objectives & Vision
Global Encounters set out to deliver one of the world’s largest youth-driven cultural festivals, bringing together international guests, performers, and athletes in a meaningful experience that celebrated diversity, creativity, and community spirit. DXB LIVE’s mission was to support that ambition through meticulous planning, creative infrastructure, and flawless execution across multiple venues.
The Concept
Designed around flexibility, scale, and immersive engagement, the concept centred on modular infrastructure and adaptable staging. From a 550 sqm LED screen setup with advanced picture-in-picture display to fully transformable event zones, the experience was engineered for speed, spectacle, and storytelling. Each space from the Opening Ceremony mega stage to the Concert Arena, Cinema, Global Village, and Sport Complex was purpose-built to host content, performance and connection at scale.
From Plan to Reality
DXB LIVE led the delivery through close coordination across planning, production, and on-site operations. In-house teams managed infrastructure build-out, rigging, technical systems, and venue transitions, supported by a structured delivery framework tailored to a multi-stakeholder environment. Modular systems and precision planning enabled repeated transformations of key spaces, allowing the same venues to host different formats throughout the festival programme.
